What is Nuggetino?
Nuggetino is a local community designed to help families build their village. We help parents find and connect with nearby families so they can get to know one another, build trusted relationships, and create the kind of support network that makes everyday family life easier. That support can look different for every family—from playdates and shared activities to carpools, recommendations, occasional childcare, or simply having other parents nearby you know and trust. You decide what you want your village to look like.
How does Nuggetino work?
Tell us a little about your family, what you're looking for in your village, and how close you'd like those connections to be. We'll use that information to identify nearby families who may be a good fit. When there's a potential connection, we'll reach out and help make the introduction. From there, you decide whether you'd like to connect and what happens next.
Who can join Nuggetino?
Nuggetino is for parents and caregivers who want to build meaningful connections with other families in their local community. Whether you're looking for playdates, carpools, shared activities, occasional childcare, recommendations, or simply more families to know nearby, there's no single way to be part of a village.
How will I be connected with other families?
We look at things like location, children’s ages, shared interests, and what each family is hoping to find in their village to identify potential connections. When we find families who may be a good fit, we’ll reach out and help make the introduction. Both families decide whether they’d like to connect.
What happens after I’m introduced to another family?
Once an introduction is made, it’s up to both families to decide what happens next. You might start with a conversation, meet at a local park, plan a playdate, or simply take some time to get to know one another. There’s no expectation or obligation to move forward. Trust and relationships are built over time, at a pace that feels right for both families.
Does Nuggetino screen or background-check families?
Nuggetino does not currently conduct background checks or independently verify every family who joins. We encourage families to take time getting to know one another and to verify anything that is important to them before making plans together. Each family decides who they feel comfortable connecting with and how that relationship develops.
Does joining mean I have to provide childcare?
Not at all. Nuggetino is about building connections, not creating obligations. Every family decides what they’re comfortable offering or participating in. Your village might include playdates, carpools, shared activities, recommendations, occasional childcare, or simply other families nearby you enjoy knowing. You choose what being part of a village looks like for your family.
Is Nuggetino free?
Yes. Joining Nuggetino is free. There’s no cost to sign up, tell us what you’re looking for in your village, or be introduced to other families.
